How it Works

Step 1 - Secure Covers

Remove your wrist strap from the packaging and attach it to your Leaf Sweep. Slide your covers on straight all the way to the handle, fully covering the white tooltips. The seams and tags go on the sides of the tooltips for optimal coverage and function.

Step 2 - Lock & Unlock with Button

To unlock and lock the Leaf Sweep tongs, hold the handles together and press the green button with your hand or on any surface. The tool arms must be held together to effectively lock/unlock.

*Do not attempt to pry the Leaf Sweep tongs open without using the button. Forcing the tool open without compressing the handles and using the button may result in damage not covered by warranty

Step 3 - Clean Leaves

Use your Leaf Sweep to clean in several ways depending on the plant:

  1. Tong: Open the tool and grip leaves to clean/treat both sides.
  2. Wand: Wipe the surface of leaves using the flat side of a tooltip with Leaf Sweep closed.
  3. Double Wand: Rotate tips side-by-side to double the wiping surface.
  4. Precision Wand: Remove tooltip for more precision cleaning and targeted scrubbing. See Step 6 for details.

Apply variable pressure as needed depending on the leaf type.

Step 4 - Treat & Condition

For optimal cleaning, treating or conditioning, use with water or solutions. Spray leaves or covers directly.

For enhanced dry dusting, try Leaf Sweep Dusting Covers.

Step 5 - Rotate When Dirty

Take advantage of all four cleaning surfaces on your Leaf Sweep by rotating the tooltips and/or flipping over the device. To rotate the tooltip, pull it away from the handle, swivel and release.

Step 6 - Use as a Wand

To target specific areas for cleaning and scrubbing, remove one tooltip to create a narrower point on your cleaning wand. Open your Leaf Sweep and hold the handle on the grip, then pull the tooltip gently until it releases. Reinsert after use.

Step 7 - Cover Removal & Washing

Hand or machine wash when dirty or after disease treatment. To remove, lift or slide thumb under cover base to release velcro. Rotate and repeat for each cover then slide off once detached.

*Avoid pulling cover off without releasing as it may damage velcro or fray fabric and shorten lifespan of the cover.

The Leaf Sweep is ultra lightweight for extended use and portability. Keep it around your wrist, tuck it in a pocket or clip it on a toolbelt for transport. Hang from it's strap for storage.
