How it Works

Step 1 - Secure Covers

Remove your wrist strap from the packaging and attach Leaf Sweep. Slide your covers on straight all the way to the handle, fully covering the white tooltips. The seams and tags go on the sides of the tooltips for optimal coverage and function.

Step 2 - Lock & Unlock with Button

To unlock and lock the Leaf Sweep tongs, hold the handles together and press the green button with your hand or on any surface. The tool arms must be held together to effectively lock/unlock.

*Do not attempt to pry the Leaf Sweep tongs open without using the button. Forcing the tool open without compressing the handles and using the button may result in damage not covered by warranty

Step 3 - Clean Leaves

Use your Leaf Sweep in one of four ways depending on the leaf structure:

  1. Tong: Open the tool and grip leaves to clean/treat both sides.
  2. Wand: Wipe the surface of leaves using the flat side of a tooltip with Leaf Sweep closed.
  3. Double Wand: Rotate tips side-by-side to double the wiping surface.
  4. Precision Wand: Remove tooltip to create a narrower point for targeted cleaning. Hold handle and gently pull tooltip straight out until it releases. Squeeze handles and press button to lock. Reinsert after use.

Apply variable pressure as needed depending on the leaf type.

Step 4 - Treat & Condition

For optimal cleaning, treating or conditioning, use with water or solutions. Spray leaves or covers directly.

For enhanced dry dusting, try Leaf Sweep Dusting Covers.

Step 5 - Rotate When Dirty

Take advantage of all four cleaning surfaces on your Leaf Sweep by rotating the tooltips and/or flipping over the device. To rotate the tooltip, pull it away from the handle, swivel and release.

Step 6 - Cover Removal & Washing

Swap out covers when dirty or after treating a diseased plant. To remove, lift at base of cover to release velcro. Rotate and repeat for each cover then slide off once detached. Hand or machine wash.

*Pulling cover off without velcro may cause fraying and shorten cover lifespan
